Today we are flying the:

Serapis Flag

One of the most unique historical flag designs to represent the United States, this was one of the first flags used to identify an American vessel in a foreign port, making it an official U.S. Flag from 246 years ago.

To learn more about this flag and others we fly, please visit the OUR FLAGS section of this site.

When do we fly this flag?

We display this flag late September through early October in honor of the Battle of Flamborough Head on September 23, 1779 and the date it was officially entered into Dutch logbooks on October 5, 1779.
